Contest hosts are chosen from the pool of applicants who have completed and turned in their application by the due date, and based on the following factors:
- Geographical location
- Dates your location is available
- Your location meets IHSDTA qualifications for contest hosts including proper performance, warm up, and staging areas
- Years of experience hosting
