Always make sure that you thoroughly read through the IHSDTA contest rules before you prepare to attend a competition. The contest rules contain detailed information on divisions, categories, illegal movements, time limits, costuming, etc.. Sample score sheets can be found under the judges link.
There is also a new glossary of terms that should help provide clarity on some of the dance terms that are used in contest rules.
PRIVACY: To protect the privacy of our dancers no one is permitted to take photos or video at an IHSDTA event without a valid IHSDTA issued press pass. Failure to abide by this policy may result in your removal from the gym (WITHOUT REFUND), in addition to whatever other remedies are available by law.
